OCTOBER 2008 UPDATE

HELLO EVERYONE!!!
We hope you all are doing great!!!
It's been awhile-we have been extremely busy with all the kids and their activities.
Chris and Nicole took a little break in September and went to the Nascar race in Kansas city.
Grandma Melinda and Grandma and Grandpa Bruner stayed with the kids and did great!! Thanks to them for all their help. We had a great time, even though it was hard to be away from the kids!!

Allison is enjoying her freshman year in high school. She has been going to football games and went to homecoming(as Chris posted in an earlier post). She had a great time and looked very beautiful. She also just took a trip to San Diego with Grandma Mel and Bruner!
Allison has also learned the meaning of homework and she started her hip-hop dance class which she loves. She is keeping very busy with school, dance, and her social life.

Zach is busy with school and very busy with football. He practices 2 times a week for 2 hours with games on Saturday or Sunday. He plays center on his team, he is doing very well. His favorite thing to do still is collect football cards and play with his friends.

Keely- oh what can we say-there is so much. She is growing so much- yesterday at the doctor she was 12lbs 12oz and 24 3/4 inches. She started daycare in August and now has developed her second cold- the first turned into croup and now laryngitis-it's so sad she can barely talk to us and her cry sounds so weak. Within the last week or two she has started to sleep pretty much through the night- she goes to bed between 8:30-10:00 and sleeps till 4:30-6:00.
She has started to talk to us quit a bit and she is usually a very smiley girl- we feel so lucky she has been totally awesome baby. You can tell her personality is starting to develop- we can tell her likes and dislikes- one of her favorites is her brother-Zach has the knack to make Keely very happy- if he talks to her she goes crazy smiling and laughing at him. Both Allison and Zach are great with her-they are such big helpers and entertainers.
We have included some pictures of the kids also-

That's all for now! Hopefully it won't be so long in between posts. We have alot of things coming up the next few months we are very excited about- Zach's football team will play a Super Bowl game, Halloween-a trip to the Pumpkin patch- and the Holidays!!
Take Care Everyone and Keep in Touch!!!
Love,
The Omaha Eldred's

Thanks for the message an d great pictures! Zach and Allison look so grownup, and good looking, also. I am happy that they are both doing well in school and their various activities. My, how Keely has changed since I saw her at Labor Day weekend! I am so sorry that she has been sick. Guess that is one drawback to day care. Steve and BJ will be coming to Lincoln on the 27th of October. Maybe you and your family can come over to see them, or we can come to Omaha if you can't come to Lincoln. They will be here about a week and onehalf. We are going to Abilene, Kansas tomorrow to help Bill's sister Glenda celebrate her b irthday. His other sisters will be there also. It will be fun. Do you remember Don and Virginia Secrest? VA died 2 or 3 years ago, and Don died today in Fort Collins, Co. Services will be in R.C. next week. Well, I must get busy with other duties before I retire, so send this with love to all of you. Love and hugs. Gram Louise

Can I just say, it's totally awesome that our 86 year old grandma writes comments on blogs!
